Popantel F Allwormer for Large Dogs
Popantel F Allwormer is a potent oral worm treatment for dogs. These flavored tablets leverage the powerful combination of Febantel, Pyrantel, and Praziquantel to treat and control all major intestinal worms in dogs of all breeds including pregnant dogs.
Popantel F Allwormer controls roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms (including hydatid tapeworms). It also controls the shedding of oocysts of the protozoan Giardia spp. These tablets are not recommended for heartworm prevention. The formula works without the need for fasting before dosing.
How it works?
Popantel F Allwormer tablets are formulated with Febantel, Pyrantel, and Praziquantel. This potent composition allows for effective protection from roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms (including hydatid tapeworms). The formula also controls the shedding of oocysts of the protozoan Giardia spp.
Ingredients:
Febantel, Pyrantel, and Praziquantel
- Weigh your dog beforehand to know the right dosage
- Administer it orally as a single dose
- Monitor your dog after administering to ensure that the entire dose is consumed. If not, re-dose the full dose.
- Consult your vet if the symptoms persist
Dosage:
- For Hookworms and Roundworms: Treat dogs and puppies at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks, then once every month until 6 months of age. Then, every 3 months or as advised by the vet
- For Whipworms: Treat every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age
- For Tapeworms (excluding hydatid tapeworms): Treat every 3 months
- Hydatid Tapeworms: Treat dogs every 6 weeks in hydatid areas. Ensure to not feed offal of any species
- For Giardia: Consult the vet to confirm the infection. Treat for 3 consecutive days. Repeat the treatment if needed or as suggested by your vet
- For Pregnant Dogs: Treat pregnant dogs before mating, 10 days prior to whelping, and then 2 and 4 weeks after whelping
