Drontal Allwormer for Cats

A single dose of this ingenious dewormer keeps cats free from worm infection in outdoor pets along with house pets. Each tablet of Drontal for Cats treats one 9 lbs (4 kg) cat for three months. The deworming treatment starts showing its effect in less than seven days of administration.

How It Works?
Drontal for Cats consists of Praziquantel and Pyrantel Embonate as the two active ingredients. Praziquantel is an anthelmintic which induces contraction of the tapeworms and flukes resulting in paralysis in the contracted state. The dying parasites are destroyed in the intestine and passed through the stool of the pet. Pyrantel Embonate acts as a depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent thereby causing sudden contraction, followed by paralysis in hookworms and roundworms. This results in causing the worms to lose their grip on the intestinal wall and be passed out of the system by natural process. The worms usually pass in normal stool or with diarrhea, straining, and occasional vomiting. When both these active ingredients are combined together it results in total annihilation of gastrointestinal worms like tapeworms, large worms and hookworms from cats and kittens.
