Ecovet Eco - Diarrho Liquid

• Since Eco-Diarrho is formulated in 20% ethanol, it has to be diluted prior to administering it to your pet.
• Water is the preferred medium of dilution.
• If your pet does not tolerate water, you can use milk as a substitute.
• If your pet does not take the treatment in either case, give it on a little treat, but this may affect the efficacy of the product.
• After dilution, allow the solution to stand for a few minutes undisturbed. This will allow the alcohol to evaporate.
• Give the recommended dose 20 minutes before or after meals.
• Administer the recommended dose to your pet’s mouth via a plastic spoon or syringe.
• You can also mix Eco-Diarrho with your pet’s drinking water, but change the water at least once a day.
• Change the water if it becomes soiled or dirty.
• For acute conditions:

1. Give the recommended dose every 30 minutes for 4 doses
2. Then administer a dose every 3 hours for 3 doses
3. Finally, reduce the frequency of dosing to 3 times a day until the symptoms are under control.

• For chronic conditions:

1. Administer the recommended dose 3 times a day.

Dosage

• Since the product is made in alcohol, do not administer it without dilution.
• If your pet consumes undiluted liquid, visit the vet immediately.
• If your pet is suffering from diarrhea, keep them well hydrated.
• Consult your vet if the symptoms persist for more than 8 hours.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Store at or below 25°C.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

Contraindications

• In case you are using more than one Eco-Vet treatment, administer the treatments at an interval of 10 minutes.
