What is Capstar?

Capstar is a production of Novartis, a trusted animal health care pharmaceutical company. This oral flea treatment kills adult fleas on dogs. It is the fastest flea killer that starts acting in 30 minutes of application and destroys almost 100% adult fleas within 5-7 hours of administration. Being a short term adulticide, Capstar needs to be followed by a long term flea control to prevent the re-infestation of fleas. This tablet works for 24 hours and then after you need to administer another tablet. It works most effectively for adult dogs and puppies above 4 weeks of age during heavy flea infestation.
